Abstract

The rise of blockchain technology in recent years has led to the involvement of a large number of entrepreneurs, academics and various other institutions to understand and implement this technology. A special feature of blockchain platforms are smart contracts that make them more useful and interesting for use. Therefore, there is a problem of choosing the best blockchain platform for using smart contracts according to certain criteria. In the paper, this problem is solved by applying the fuzzy PROMETHEE method, and based on PROMETHEE I and PROMETHEE II, partial and complete rank of blockchain platforms are obtained, respectively. By applying these methods, the obtained results show that the Hyperledger Fabric is the best blockchain platform for using smart contracts in relation to other platforms, according to the given criteria.
